Do you #LoveYourNHS? Big Brand Ideas DO!

With just one week to go until the big day, The NHS have released their single ‘A Bridge Over You’. The track is a mash-up of ‘Fix You’ by Coldplay and ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ by Simon & Garfunkel sang by the fantastic Lewisham & Greenwich NHS choir.

But why is this appearing on BBI’s blog I hear you ask? Well, our talented Creative Director Nick Entwistle has been spearheading the campaign to get the song to Christmas Number One and we are ever so proud. Nick has been involved with the social campaign #LoveYourNHS encouraging people to post selfies with the ‘I DO #LoveYourNHS’ posters. The campaign has been a huge success with celebrities such as Michael Sheen, Holly Willoughby, Luke Shaw and many more from around the world coming out in support from as far as New Zealand, to show how much they love our NHS. As well as this, Nick was heavily involved in putting the music video together along with our friends over at The Gate Films.

Last month, BBI were asked to build the website for the campaign and of course we were honoured to do so. To be involved in such a great cause is an absolute pleasure and it is one we fully support. As we know, the NHS do great work all year round. As we are settling down for our Christmas break they are gearing up for their busiest period of the year. We think it would be a huge pat on the back for all the staff if we, as a nation got behind this single and got them to Number One. You can see the website here:
